A connected on-demand home services platform linking customers with verified local technicians, covering service discovery, scheduled bookings, custom quotation requests, real-time chat, digital wallets and centralised operations management.

Overview

Tamam is an ecosystem of four parts: a customer application, a dedicated technician application, a centralised administration dashboard and the backend that connects them. Customers browse a structured catalogue of main services, sub-services and optional additions, find nearby technicians by geolocation, review ratings and previous work, and book against a technician's real availability schedule.

Challenge

Home maintenance suffers from difficulty finding trustworthy technicians, unclear pricing, and dependence on phone calls and manual appointment coordination. Independent technicians lack tools to present their expertise, organise schedules and track earnings, while marketplace operators need centralised verification, commission calculation and complaint handling.

Platform Features

  • Structured service catalogue with main services, sub-services and optional additions, plus location-based technician discovery and multiple saved addresses.
  • Pre-booking price estimation covering quantities, optional additions and discounts before the request is submitted.
  • Custom service requests for jobs with no predefined price, with issue description and supporting images leading to a quotation.
  • Full order lifecycle tracking with alternative appointment proposals and additional-cost requests subject to customer approval.
  • In-app chat with typing indicators that keeps communication on-platform without exposing phone numbers.
  • Digital wallet, loyalty points, points-to-balance conversion, recharge cards and coupon handling.
  • Technician workspace covering specialisations, weekly availability, request acceptance, work portfolio, earnings and withdrawal requests.
  • Technician verification through document upload and administrative review before account activation.
  • Administration dashboard for users, technicians, the service tree, pricing, commissions, wallets, complaints and content.
